New Efforts To Promote Colon Cancer Prevention Internet Broadcast From The White House
1998/09/09 -On September 10, 1998, First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton hosted a special White House event on "New Efforts to Promote Colon Cancer Prevention." In addition to Mrs. Clinton, the event featured these speakers:
  • Secretary of Health and Human Services Donna Shalala
  • NBC "Today" show co-anchor Katie Couric
  • Good Housekeeping editor-in-chief Ellen Levine
  • Dr. Bernard Levin of the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston and chair of the National Colorectal Cancer Roundtable
This event was presented live on the internet. A replay of the event will be available on this site through September 1999.
